Changes to my Study Program...

Hi everyone 👽
Well, the topic of today is a personal reflexion about the university and possible changes that would Improvement certainly some things in the University specifically in my career…
I think that engineering in Agriculture (Agronomy) is an unbalance career. When you enter in the university, starts with more 150 companions, and with the pass of the semester the number of the students fall down drastically, Agronomy has a big rate of desertion, this is the consequences of many topics.
In the career your permanence are very determined for the courses that you reproved, if you reproved three times the same subject or more of ten subjects in the passing of the career, maybe you will have to leave the university and if not, you would enter in a “critic situation”, that don’t leave you take the next courses in the normal way.
Another problem is the time when some subjects are teached because you the chance of take it, just one time in the year and normally approves open new subjects in the next semester, this problem really delay you and extend more and more the time in the university (in an eternal torture with the same subject)

Finally another thing is the field trips, you have to wait (and pass) many courses before have good field trips, in the first two years you have few journeys and only inside of the university or in the surrounding areas.

These are some problems in my point of view that would change, but for this maybe we have to stay in stoppage another year more…

And what do you think??
Is really the Career so complicated or maybe this changes are impossible??

See you later Humans 👽

Summer Holidays (Or maybe not...)

Hi everyone 👽

Well, for the next year, I’m going to Spain (ole!), specifically to Madrid, for a scholarship in the polytechnic university of Madrid. But in the hemisphere, the people are finishing his Christmas holidays, so I enter classes in beginning of February.

Until then I have like 15 days approx. for visit Spain and accommodate me.
For the scholarship, I go to visit many Apicola producers in Madrid, for know more about his process and different productive systems now I'm planning visit the most that I can, and know Barcelona and Valencia.
I interest in go to the Carnival, that is a Spanish celebration realized in many provinces of Spain (and the world), with many pagan origins (cult to Baco or Saturn) mixed with many Christians celebrations of the different areas of Spain.
In Spain are so famous the bullfighting, but I don’t feel good about that, so I don’t think that I go to see that.

To Spain I’m going with partners of other careers of the university. From South campus, we go students of engineering degrees in agronomy, natural resources and forestry, But Counting all of the students in another department of the university of Chile, go like 100 students approx.

When my semester end in Spain (The classes finish in June), I want visit France, and Hungary, the latter because  here I have a friend Engineer in viticulture, so I want to visit her and  know more about wine production in her country.

And what about you??

¿has you visited Countries in another continent??

Please tell me your experience in the comment box
(I have never traveled to Europe, I'm excited!)

See you next time ðŸ‘½

Medicinal Plants...

Hi Humans
Medicinal Plants is the topic of today. So what better that talk about one of the plant more controversial: The Cannabis.
For Cannabis we can understand, a genre with three species, belonging the family Cannabaceae: Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis. Initially, for understand what make a so controversial these plants, we need to move, to the enter of the plant and see a group of molecules synthesized by this: THC and CBD

The THC is the psychoactive element present in the plant (wild cannabis normally present 0-5%) this molecule is linked with Cannabinoid receptors.

CBD It's the opposite, is not a psychoactive and normally causes a sedative effect in most cases and inhibits the transmission of nerve signals associated with pain. For these particular effects, the cannabis is a good treatment in cases with chronic patients or Painful diseases. Now studies implicate a good effect anti- tumoral in the cancer patients inhibiting the increase of the cancer cell without affect the normal cell.

To the date, the developer of this genders go so fast, we have many varieties produced for the recreational consumption (with modified percents of THC and CBD by crossing) but medicinal production is more restricted which is weird if you think that in Chile is legal but only with medicinal finish.

Like an extra data, the cannabinoids are low soluble in water, so I don’t know if a Cannabis Tea would have a real effect.
What do you think about this topic?? If you know more about this, please Comment below

See you
